Treatment Questions
How often should I have a dental checkup?
We recommend dental checkups and cleanings every 6 months for most patients. However, some patients may need more frequent visits based on their oral health needs. We'll create a personalized schedule for you.
Is teeth whitening safe?
Yes, professional teeth whitening is safe when performed or supervised by a dental professional. We use premium whitening systems that minimize sensitivity while delivering dramatic results. We'll assess if whitening is right for you during your consultation.
How long do dental implants last?
With proper care, dental implants can last a lifetime. The crown may need replacement after 10-15 years due to normal wear, but the implant itself is designed to be a permanent solution. Regular checkups help ensure longevity.
Do you offer sedation dentistry?
Yes, we offer multiple sedation options including nitrous oxide (laughing gas), oral sedation, and IV sedation for patients with dental anxiety or those undergoing extensive procedures. We'll discuss the best option for your needs.
New Patient Questions
What should I bring to my first appointment?
Please bring a valid photo ID, your insurance card, a list of current medications, and any recent dental X-rays if available. You can also save time by completing our patient forms online before your visit.
How long will my first appointment take?
Please allow 60-90 minutes for your first visit. This includes a comprehensive exam, X-rays, a professional cleaning, and time to discuss your oral health goals and create a personalized treatment plan.
Do you see children?
Yes! We love seeing kids and have pediatric dental specialists on staff. We recommend bringing children in for their first visit around age 1 or when their first tooth appears. We make dental visits fun and stress-free for little ones.
