Our Mission

Ocean Discovery Aquarium inspires conservation of the ocean and its inhabitants through education, research, and engaging experiences. We believe that understanding leads to caring, and caring leads to action.

Our History

Founded in 1999, Ocean Discovery has grown from a small local aquarium to one of the region's premier marine life centers. Today, we welcome over 1 million visitors annually and care for 50,000 animals representing 500 species.
