Welcome to The Collective. By accessing our website or using our coworking spaces and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

1. Membership Terms

Membership grants you access to our coworking spaces and amenities as described in your selected plan. Your membership is personal and non-transferable unless otherwise agreed in writing.

• You must be at least 18 years old to become a member
• You agree to provide accurate and current information during registration
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your access credentials
• You must comply with our community guidelines and code of conduct

2. Payment & Billing

Membership fees are billed in advance according to your selected billing cycle (monthly or annually). By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge the applicable fees.

• Monthly plans auto-renew on the same date each month
• Annual plans auto-renew on the anniversary date
• Failed payments will result in a 5-day grace period before access suspension
• All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise specified

3. Cancellation

You may cancel your membership at any time. Monthly plans require 30 days' written notice. Annual plans may be cancelled with a pro-rated refund for unused months, subject to an early termination fee equal to one month's membership cost.

4. Space Usage

While using our spaces, you agree to:

• Maintain a professional and respectful environment
• Keep noise levels appropriate for a shared workspace
• Clean up after yourself and return shared items
• Not engage in illegal activities on the premises
• Not bring pets unless approved (service animals excepted)
• Not smoke or vape inside the building

5. Property & Liability

The Collective is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to your personal property. We recommend that you do not leave valuables unattended. Members are responsible for any damage they cause to our facilities or equipment.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of The Collective and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

7. Privacy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

8. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of San Francisco County, California.
