Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before your escape room adventure.

General Questions

An escape room is an immersive, interactive game where you and your team are "locked" in a themed room. You have 60 minutes to solve puzzles, find clues, and complete objectives to "escape" before time runs out. It's a fun, challenging experience that tests teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Our rooms accommodate 2-8 players. We recommend 4-6 players for the optimal experience, as this provides enough minds to tackle the puzzles without feeling crowded. However, groups of any size within that range can have a great time. For larger groups, we can book multiple rooms for a competitive experience!
Yes! All our games are private. When you book, you're reserving the entire room for your group only. You'll never be paired with strangers. This ensures the best possible experience and allows you to fully immerse yourself in the adventure.
No worries! Whether you escape or not, you'll have an amazing experience. After your game, your game master will walk you through any puzzles you didn't complete and explain the story. Many teams don't escape on their first try, and that's totally normal. The fun is in the journey!

Booking & Policies

We recommend booking at least 1-2 weeks in advance, especially for weekends and holidays. Our popular time slots (evenings and weekends) fill up quickly. Same-day bookings are sometimes available on weekdays, but we can't guarantee availability.
You can cancel or reschedule your booking free of charge up to 24 hours before your scheduled time. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will be charged 50% of the booking total. No-shows are charged the full amount. We understand plans change, so we try to be as flexible as possible.
Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled time. This allows time for check-in, waivers, a restroom break, and a briefing from your game master. If you arrive late, we may need to shorten your game time or reschedule, depending on availability.

Experience & Safety

It depends on the room! Our Horror category rooms (The Asylum, Specter Manor) feature jump scares, live actors, low lighting, and intense themes. These are recommended for ages 16+. Our other rooms (Mystery, Adventure, Sci-Fi) are thrilling and immersive but not scary. Check each room's page for scare level indicators.
No, you're never truly locked in. All our rooms have emergency exits that can be accessed at any time. Your game master monitors you via cameras and can open the door immediately if needed. Safety is our top priority. The "locked room" is part of the immersive experience, but you can leave at any time.
Participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Horror rooms (The Asylum, Specter Manor) are recommended for ages 16+ due to intense themes and scares. Our family-friendly rooms (221B Baker Street, Pharaoh's Tomb) are suitable for children 10+ with adult supervision. Children under 10 may find the experience challenging.
Most of our rooms are wheelchair accessible, though some may have limited mobility areas. Please contact us before booking if you have specific accessibility needs, and we'll recommend the best room for your group and make any necessary accommodations. We're committed to providing an inclusive experience for all.

Tips for Success

  • Communicate! Share everything you find with your team.
  • Search thoroughly – look under, behind, and inside everything.
  • Don't overthink – if a puzzle seems too complicated, you might be missing something simple.
  • Split up tasks – divide and conquer when possible.
  • Ask for hints – there's no shame in it, and it keeps the game moving.
  • Have fun! The experience matters more than escaping.
Wear comfortable clothes and shoes. You may need to bend, crouch, or move around. Avoid high heels, restrictive clothing, or anything you don't want to get slightly dirty. Leave large bags and valuables in our secure lockers provided at no charge.
