Visiting the Museum
What are the museum's hours?
We're open Thursday through Monday, 10am to 6pm. Extended hours on Fridays until 9pm. The museum is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
How much is admission?
General admission is $25 for adults, $18 for seniors (65+), and $12 for students with valid ID. Children under 12 are free. Members always enjoy free unlimited admission.
Do I need to book tickets in advance?
While walk-ins are welcome, we recommend booking online in advance for popular exhibitions. Timed-entry tickets help us manage capacity and ensure a comfortable experience for all visitors.
Is photography allowed?
Non-flash photography is permitted in the permanent collection galleries. Some special exhibitions may have restrictions—please check signage or ask a gallery attendant. Tripods and professional equipment require prior approval.
Accessibility
Is the museum wheelchair accessible?
Yes, Gallery is fully wheelchair accessible. We offer complimentary wheelchairs on a first-come, first-served basis. All floors are accessible via elevator, and accessible restrooms are available on every level.
Are audio guides available?
Free audio guides are available in 10 languages. We also offer descriptive audio tours for visitors who are blind or have low vision. ASL interpretation is available for tours with advance booking.
Membership
What are the benefits of membership?
Members enjoy unlimited free admission, exclusive exhibition previews, discounts at the museum shop and café, invitations to members-only events, and reciprocal admission at partner museums nationwide.
How do I become a member?
You can join online, at the admissions desk, or by calling our membership office. Memberships start at $75 for individuals and $125 for households. Student memberships are available at a reduced rate.
