Getting Started

What is ServerWatch?
ServerWatch is a full-stack observability platform that helps engineering teams monitor their infrastructure, applications, and services in real time. We provide metrics collection, log management, distributed tracing, and intelligent alerting in a single unified platform.
How long does setup take?
Most teams are up and running in under 5 minutes. Install our lightweight agent on your hosts, and metrics start flowing immediately. For more advanced setups like APM or custom metrics, check our documentation.
What languages and frameworks do you support?
We support all major languages including Python, Node.js, Java, Go, Ruby, .NET, and PHP. Our APM auto-instrumentation works with popular frameworks like Django, Express, Spring Boot, and Rails. See our integrations page for the full list.

Pricing & Billing

Is there a free plan?
Yes! Our Community plan is free forever. It includes monitoring for up to 5 hosts, 100 custom metrics, and 1-day data retention. No credit card required.
Can I switch plans at any time?
Absolutely. Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time. When you upgrade, you get immediate access to new features. When you downgrade, changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) and can process invoices via ACH or wire transfer for Enterprise customers. All payments are processed securely through Stripe.

Technical

How much overhead does the agent add?
The ServerWatch agent is extremely lightweight. It typically uses less than 1% CPU and under 100MB of memory. We've designed it to have negligible impact on your application performance.
Can I self-host ServerWatch?
On-premise deployment is available for Enterprise customers. This allows you to run the full ServerWatch stack within your own infrastructure for compliance or data sovereignty requirements. Contact sales to learn more.
Where is my data stored?
Data is stored in AWS data centers with regions available in US East, US West, EU (Frankfurt), and Asia Pacific (Tokyo). Enterprise customers can choose their preferred data region. All data is encrypted at rest with AES-256 and in transit with TLS 1.3.

Security & Compliance

Is ServerWatch SOC 2 compliant?
Yes. ServerWatch is SOC 2 Type II certified and undergoes annual audits. We also comply with GDPR and HIPAA (with a BAA for Enterprise customers). Our full security posture is available at our security page.
Do you support SSO?
SAML SSO and SCIM provisioning are available on our Enterprise plan. We integrate with Okta, Azure AD, OneLogin, Google Workspace, and any SAML 2.0 compliant identity provider.
