Amenities & Services

Is there WiFi at the campground?
Complimentary WiFi is available at the camp office, recreation hall, and near the main bathhouse. Signal strength varies throughout the campground. We encourage guests to disconnect and enjoy nature, but we understand the need to stay connected.
What is available at the camp store?

We offer three types of RV sites: full hookup (water, electric 50/30 amp, sewer), partial hookup (water and electric only), and dry camping. A dump station is available for partial hookup and dry camping guests at no extra charge.
Pets & Wildlife
Are pets allowed at the campground?
Yes, we are pet-friendly! Dogs are welcome at designated pet-friendly campsites and cabins. There is a $15/night pet fee (max 2 pets per site). All pets must be leashed (max 6 ft), cleaned up after, and never left unattended. See our pet policy for details.
What wildlife might we see?
Pine Valley is home to diverse wildlife including white-tailed deer, wild turkeys, various songbirds, owls, and occasionally black bears. We're also a great spot for birdwatching with over 80 species documented. Visit our wildlife guide to learn more.
How should we store food to prevent bears?
All food, coolers, and scented items must be stored in vehicles with windows closed or in the bear-proof lockers provided at each site. Never leave food unattended at your campsite. Proper food storage is required by park regulations and helps protect both campers and wildlife.
Campfires & Activities
Can I have a campfire?
Campfires are allowed in designated fire rings only, subject to current fire conditions. During high fire danger periods, fires may be restricted. Firewood bundles ($8) are available at the camp store. Do not bring outside firewood to prevent invasive pests. Fires must be fully extinguished before leaving your site or going to sleep.
What activities are available?
We offer hiking trails, fishing in Pine Lake (license required), kayak and canoe rentals, swimming beach, playground, basketball court, horseshoe pits, and weekly events during summer including campfire sing-alongs and nature walks. See our activities page for the full list.
Do I need a fishing license?
Yes, a valid state fishing license is required for anyone 16 years or older. Licenses can be purchased online or at the camp store. Pine Lake is stocked with largemouth bass, bluegill, and catfish. Catch and release is encouraged for bass.
