Born from frustration
In 2019, our founders were working at a fast-growing startup where expense reports were a nightmare. Finance spent 3 days each month just processing receipts. Employees hoarded crumpled paper for weeks before reluctantly filling out spreadsheets.
There had to be a better way. What if your phone could read receipts instantly? What if policies were checked automatically? What if reimbursements happened in days, not weeks?
That question became ExpenseFlow. We started with AI-powered OCR, added smart categorization, built approval workflows, and created integrations with every major accounting platform. Today, we process over 50 million receipts annually.
