At SurveyKit, privacy is foundational to our platform. This policy explains how we handle data for both our customers (survey creators) and their respondents.
1. Data We Collect

- Response data submitted by survey respondents

- Payment and billing information
2. How We Use Data
We use data to operate the platform, provide analytics, process payments, improve our services, and communicate important updates. We never sell personal data.
3. Respondent Data
Survey responses belong to the survey creator. We act as a data processor. When anonymous mode is enabled, we do not collect any identifying information from respondents.
4. Data Security
AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit. SOC 2 Type II certified. Regular penetration testing and security audits. Data centers in the US and EU.
5. GDPR Compliance
We are fully GDPR compliant. We offer Data Processing Agreements (DPAs), support data portability, and honor deletion requests within 30 days.
