Welcome to SurveyKit. By using our platform, you agree to these Terms of Service.
1. Acceptance
By creating an account, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using SurveyKit on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
2. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.
3. Acceptable Use
- Do not use surveys to collect data deceptively or illegally
- Do not distribute malware or phishing through surveys
- Comply with applicable privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
- Do not impersonate others or misrepresent affiliations
4. Data Ownership
You own all survey content and response data you collect. We provide the platform; we do not claim rights to your data. Upon account deletion, your data is permanently removed within 30 days.
5. Payment
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually. Prices are listed on our pricing page and may change with 30 days notice. We offer a 14-day free trial on all paid plans.
6. Service Availability
We target 99.9% uptime. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance. We are not liable for downtime beyond our SLA commitments.
7. Termination
You may cancel anytime. We may suspend accounts violating these terms. You can export your data before cancellation.
8. Limitation of Liability
SurveyKit's total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
9. Changes
We may update these terms with 30 days notice via email or in-app notification.
