1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Domaine de Lumière website, making purchases, joining our wine club, or visiting our estate, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Age Verification

You must be at least 21 years of age to purchase wine, participate in tastings, or otherwise consume alcoholic beverages. By using our services, you confirm that you are of legal drinking age. We reserve the right to request identification at any time and may refuse service to anyone who cannot verify their age.

3. Wine Purchases

When purchasing wine from Domaine de Lumière:

• All prices are in US dollars and subject to applicable taxes
• We accept major credit cards and digital payment methods
• Orders are subject to availability and may be limited in quantity
• An adult signature (21+) is required for all wine deliveries
• We cannot ship to all states due to legal restrictions—see our shipping policy for details
• Risk of loss transfers to you upon delivery to the carrier

4. Wine Club Membership

By joining La Société du Vin wine club:

• You authorize us to charge your card for quarterly shipments
• A minimum commitment of two shipments is required
• You may customize or skip shipments with 7 days advance notice
• Cancellation requires 30 days written notice before the next ship date
• Member benefits are non-transferable and apply only to the registered member
• We reserve the right to modify benefits with 30 days notice

5. Reservations and Cancellations

For tastings, tours, and events:

• Reservations are recommended and may be required for certain experiences
• Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance for a full refund
• No-shows and late cancellations may be charged the full reservation amount
• We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule events due to weather or unforeseen circumstances
• Group bookings (8+ guests) require 72 hours cancellation notice

6. Estate Conduct

When visiting our estate, you agree to:

• Consume alcohol responsibly and designate a sober driver
• Respect our property, staff, and other guests
• Supervise children at all times
• Keep pets on leash in designated areas only (service animals welcome everywhere)
• Not bring outside food or beverages without prior approval
• Follow all posted rules and staff instructions

We reserve the right to refuse service or remove anyone who violates these guidelines.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, images, logos, wine names, and design elements, is the property of Domaine de Lumière and protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Domaine de Lumière shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service or product giving rise to the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Domaine de Lumière, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your violation of these terms or your use of our services.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Napa County, California.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms of Service is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
