In the roaring twenties, visionary hotelier William Harrison Sterling had a dream: to create a sanctuary of refined elegance that would become the standard for luxury hospitality on the West Coast.
He chose the heart of Beverly Hills, where palm-lined boulevards met the glamour of Hollywood's golden age. Ground broke on January 15, 1928, and within two years, The Grand opened its doors to a clientele that read like a who's who of American society.
